New Single dropping soon! "Pretty Penny"

Hey guys! 

I'm so excited to share that by November, I'll be dropping a new single featuring some seriously awesome musicians! The single is called "Pretty Penny"- it's about how sometimes you gotta spend a lot of time and energy to prove how much someone means to you, and to give them the best version of you that they deserve. 

I wrote this one a while back, and it came out of my brain super easy. I've been spending a lot of time in introspection these past few years, and it has cultivated a newfound drive and patience in me to accomplish the goals I've had lingering in the back of my mind for so long. Although this song wasn't actually written with any specific person in mind, it was more the idea that I MUST set out and try to build something I can be proud of for both myself and my future partner. 

This isn't just about pursuing success with music. It's also about building a home within myself that I can invite someone into- a safe place during hard times filled with peace found only in the Holy Spirit. It's about nurturing the fruits God has planted in me so that one day, my family, my friends, and I can eat them and be glad.

I've decided to share an intimate part of the songwriting journey with you guys (Or more specifically, my email blast subscribers) by attaching a downloadable audio file to this coming Sunday's email. It's the original recording I made after writing the song on May 1st. Although it doesn't fully represent the final song, it might be a cool sneak-peak into my process for those who want a look inside! 

Overall, I'm very excited to share this song with y'all. I think it's a fun song, and I think I represented myself well with it. I hope you enjoy!
